Revlon Frost & glow...I dyed my hair and didn't get the look I wanted. How do I correct this?

Can I re-dye it for a lighter look or do I have to wait... and if so, how long? Should I go to a professional to get it fixed? so, you're supposed to wait a few weeks before you dye your hair again, otherwise it can get all messed up. you could go to a salon, they might be able to do something, i'm not sure. or you can go to them for a professional dye job in a few weeks. in the meantime, go to the drugstore or a beauty supply store and they usually sell products that are meant to help correct hair dye mistakes or to get the dye out earlier. good luck!Revlon Frost %26amp; glow...I dyed my hair and didn't get the look I wanted. I would wait just a week or so, while conditioning your hair everyday to rebuild and replenish and prepare it for being dyed again in such a short period of time. When you are re-dying it, be sure to make it very light color the way you like by leaving the dye in for a little longer than what it calls for.
if you want to remove it all together try ';color oops';. You can buy it at your local pharmacy or convenient store. Dont re-dye over it! the color might wash out (kind of like ';tye dye';, but not as cool), and look even murkier. try getting them profesionally done if you want the best results, or take a hair dying class at yout local college.

she kept on dyeing her hair cause she didnt like it...then her hair turned clown red...no joke

Keep in mind, box dye doesn't usually come exactly like the picture on the box. ;)


If you're going to get it fixed, wait at least three weeks.

okay i just bought revlon colorist #100 extra light natural blonde. i want to dye my hair but now i'm getting nervous.. i heard this dye was great thought. anyone have any comments on it ?About new revlon colorist hair dye?
i just bought the golden blonde one and i'm scared to try it too it'll probably be fine if your hair is already blonde and you're just ligtening it but it won't work if you're going from brown to blonde.

Is Revlon hair dye any good?

I have VERY dark brown hair (almost black) and since my mom wouldn't give me any money, I only had 5 dollars so I bought Revlon hair dye in the color of black. I've heard Revlon sucks since it's so cheap. And being the paranoid person I am, I think something bad's gonna happen, like waking up in the morning bald (because my hair fell out from the hair dye or something), or waking up with orange or green hair.Is Revlon hair dye any good?
Your hair won't fall out from the dye, though repeatedly coloring your hair can damage it to the point where it breaks easily.





If it's Revlon Colorsilk you're talking about, I've used it and it's very gentle. My hair does feel a little better after I've colored it than before I did. I used to use Feria, which costs 3 times as much, and I noticed a LOT more split ends, so cost is not necessarily a factor in how good for your hair a product is..





In general, if a haircolor is for lightening hair, it's capable of doing more damage. If it only darkens or adds color, it's less likely to cause breakage.

not at all! my mom wouldn't let me dye my hair so i bought that with the little money that i had. my hair naturally is medium blonde and i used ash brown. it stayed in for about 2 days then washed out and left my hair a weird golden color.

it also depends on what your hair is like, rough hair wont long soft, but im sure your hair wwill

My best recommendation is to apply to the scalp first, let it process 10 minutes, then run the remaining colour through the ends for the remainder of the processing time. The older the ends of the hair are, the faster they pick up colour, resulting in a darker look. Good luck!

Never had a problem with it and it has been around a long time, too. It is not as ';luxurious'; as some of the newer hair dyes, but it worked satisfactorily.
I've used it before... It made my hair feel like straw. Never again.
