Dying hair with frost & glow kit by Revlon?

I want to achieve a platinum blonde look with this kit. I've used it in the past before, using the cap (painful process), and my hair turned out a golden blonde (which is what I wanted before).





But since the cap took a while to use, I was wonder if I could just dab it all over my hair instead of pulling it through the hooks. Does anyone know if this is possible??Dying hair with frost %26amp; glow kit by Revlon?
