So what is the deal with revlon colorist and colorsilk and dyeinig indian black hair to brown

ok so my hair is black and i tried henna, cinnamon, a little lemon juice, and coffee powder to color my hair and left the color in for 4 hours and it only made the hair seem brown in the light. SO i was thinking about getting Revlon colorsilk. but then it sed for gray hair coverage and stuff. so i looked at Revlon colorist but it was expensive at our store and then the root touch up seemed like a little thing.. the website isnt helping. can someone tell me if u get permanent color with all the products and what the difference is between the revlon COLORIST and the revlon COLORSILK..... same thing. or is one for old people and one for a new color. .... so confusedSo what is the deal with revlon colorist and colorsilk and dyeinig indian black hair to brown
I've never tried Revlon Colorist, but I've used Revlon Colorsilk before and it works just fine. It's NOT just for gray coverage. It's pretty cheap and ammonia-free, and the colors are pretty good. Go for it!

Edit: Colorsilk will be about $4, and Colorist would be about $10. I agree with the other answerer, btw. Feria is a good hair dye.So what is the deal with revlon colorist and colorsilk and dyeinig indian black hair to brown
Colorsilk is fine for any hair. It's the cheapest haircolor you can get. I Personally would use Garnier or Feria. Excellence cream is really good too, its thick and doesn't drip at all.
